Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-09-15
These Terms govern your use of Elysium. By placing an order or creating an account you accept them. You are buying from Elysium, not from the workshops and printers that make the goods: Elysium is the seller of record and your counterpart for everything that follows.
1. Who can buy
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. Accounts are personal; sharing access credentials, including access tickets, is at your own risk and any use made of them is treated as yours.
2. Products, and how they are made
Items are produced either from stock we hold or made to order by manufacturing partners in several countries. Every product page shows where it is made — a country, or a globe when it is produced in more than one place — and, where relevant, which destinations it cannot reach.
Made-to-order items are produced after you buy them. They cannot be resold, which is why they are excluded from change-of-mind returns; see the Refund Policy.
Colours on a screen are not colours on fabric or paper. A difference between a product image and the item you receive is not, by itself, a defect.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and are confirmed by our servers at the moment of payment, not by your browser. If a price displayed to you differs from the confirmed price, the order is not completed and nothing is charged.
Payment is taken from your Elysium balance, or by card through our payment provider's own secure page. Card details never reach our servers. Your balance is a record of credit with us; it is not a deposit account, earns no interest, and is not transferable.
Taxes, duties and customs charges in the destination country are yours to pay and are not included in the price unless the checkout says otherwise.
4. Adding balance
You may add balance in advance if you want to, and you never have to. It exists so that money you have already set aside is ready when you decide to buy something. Nothing is charged automatically, and an account that never adds balance works exactly the same.
What that balance is: credit to spend in this shop. It is not a deposit account, it earns no interest, it cannot be transferred to another person, and it is not money held on your behalf. We are a shop, not a bank or a payment institution.
It does not expire, so there is no date by which you must spend it. If something costs more than your balance, you pay the difference by card at checkout. If an order paid from your balance is cancelled or refunded, the money returns to your balance.
Because it is shop credit rather than a cash deposit, it is not paid back out as cash in the ordinary course. If you believe your circumstances require otherwise, write to us and we will answer; where the law of your country gives you a right we have not described here, that law applies and nothing in these terms takes it away from you.
There is a smallest and largest amount you can add at once, and a limit on how much balance one account may hold. Both are shown on the page where you add it.
5. Delivery and split orders
An order containing items made in different places is split into several packages, each with its own tracking and its own estimated delivery date. Seeing part of an order arrive before the rest is normal.
Estimated dates are estimates. Customs inspections, carrier delays and weather are outside anyone's control. Where a destination is listed as restricted for a product, the order cannot be placed for that address.
6. When something is wrong
Report a problem from inside the order in your account, with photographs. Time limits apply and differ by product, because they follow what the maker of that item allows — as short as 72 hours for visible transport damage. The limit that applies to your item is shown when you open the claim. Full detail is in the Refund Policy.
7. Your account
You can close your account at any time from your account page. What is erased and what is kept is set out in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that is used fraudulently, that abuses the claims process, or that puts other people at risk.
8. What we do not promise
We do not promise that the platform is uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law where you live allows it, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
9. Changes
We may change these Terms. The date at the top tells you which version you are reading. Orders are governed by the version in force when the order was placed.
10. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Elysium is established. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protections of the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
